Leaving a legacy

Once you have made provision for your loved ones, you have the opportunity to make a lasting gift to God, by leaving a legacy to His church. Leaving a gift in your Will to your local church is a lasting ways you can continue to support the mission and ministry in your community.

Here are some of the ways in which legacies have transformed churches in our benefice.

Elizabeth Kirk’s legacy

Elizabeth Kirk

Our Reader, Elizabeth Kirk, who died in 2014, left a substantial legacy to each of the churches in the Draycote Benefice.

This legacy enabled us to equip the benefice with a range of audio-visual equipment which means we can hold services in many different locations and offer services suitable for a variety of different age groups.

All Saints also used Elizabeth’s legacy  to restore the windows on the North Aisle, making the building lighter and less draughty.
